Hello , I have the chance to buy a 74 K5 , blue with white fiberglass top. Its got a 350/TH400/? transfer case combo. I think they are still 1/2 ton axles. The body isn't perfect but its definatley fixable. It prolly needs new doors and seats. Supposedly the engine has a cam and carb in it (perf.) but I am unsure of this. Supposedly it was restored and driven for a couple years and then the guy got sick and died. The owner then bought it from auction and drove it to its present spot. He's asking $1200 . Do you think this is reasonable?

Isnt 74' a full convertible? I would do it as long as the drivetrain is solid and the body/top is saveable(sp?). I would try to get him down to $1000 though. Someone else here got a decent 87? for $900.

I would say that is a good price for the 74. I have a 75 and i paid that for mine and had to redo the whole thing! I guess it all comes down to whats it worth to you.
