If it was about double of what I've got in it, so I could reinvest it in another K5 to build bigger and better. /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

Everything I own is for sale, it all depends on the price... If someone offered me, say, $10k for my truck I would sell it in a heartbeat without pulling any parts out. I'd probably sell it for $8k, and wouldn't even consider anything less than $7k. However, I'd be lucky if I could get $5k, and even at that it would have to be someone that appreciates it for what it is and doesn't care what it looks like.

Yea I would I've been offered 4500.00 but didn't take I said then and still today I would take 6500.00. But around here their isn't enough people into it to get that out of it. The real question is if you sold it would you completly get out of the blazer thing or build another one? Believe it or not I would probobly sell it before my wife would.

Yep. Shoot, I'd sell mine just cause. I'm attached to it, but If the price was right, sure. I'd just end up buying another one so I can go through all this headache again /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

I'd take the 10 Gs and build me a sweet 1st gen or a 73-75 using all of the knowledge that I've gained building this one. The right springs and lift methods for the most flex, go 1 ton right away, all the goodies. Still, $10k would not really go that far in an ultimate buildup, I have more than that in my truck in parts alone, and that doesn't even count all of the junk that I've bought then broken, it only counts the upgraded stuff.

An older guy up to me about 2 months ago and offered me 5K for my truck.I told him I had too much work into it,he says "yeah I know, stuff I can't do anymore".I had to turn him down eventhough I only have about 2K into the truck. Now I kinda wish I would have taken him up on the deal.I love my truck and could'nt see someone else driving it!It would only have been on the street...and that is not what I built it for!Mike

I would have to factor in the hours that i spent working on it, as part of the price but also i would not sell it in the asme town or even 100 mile radius of where i lived cuz if i ever saw somone Rollin my truck down the road acting like it was really "theirs" then i would want to kick the hell out of them, They might own my truck but it isnt really theirs,

i would never sell my jimmy. i always say htat i will keep it forever. i always hear adults at church school or wherever say that they wish they still had their first car. i also am way too atached to it. dont care if its mostly stock but its the car i drive nd that makes it my baby.
