I got the roof rack from a guy in Vancouver for 60 bucks, He had it on a first generation Blazer. I had to drill a couple of holes for the pins on my 88 and do tons of sanding and cleaning, but it looks great and is strong. I believe this one is over 20 years old and may be tough to find another.

    Ken,

Boy I feel bad for the photographer about 2 seconds after that shot was taken!

It looks like you're making a right-hand turn under heavy throttle, and in a fraction of a second....all that "goo" that's flying off the front tires is going to splatter all over them!!!! [IMG]

The photographer must be a good friend!.....(or maybe he WAS a good friend)

    Awesome shot!!! [IMG]

  17. does it mount between the topper and the top of the bedrails? kinda like those lumber racks that mount around a canope?

The rack does sit on the box rails with holes to allow the top to be bolted down on it.
The rear axle bolts are not stainless but zinc, but I like the look so much I clear coated them and the differential bolts with clear epoxy spray, I hope they will stay bright.
