Wrecked 90\'s model pickup, what can I use for my 79?

Will a bench seat out of a 95ish chevy pickup, work in my 79 chevy pickup? I'm thinking i'll have to modify some brackets, but i think it might work.

Also, what about the steering column??

    Thanks ya'll

I have seen othere rigs that have mid 90's seats in 2nd generations. Even if it did not *bolt* right in, it should be a pretty easy mod/fab.

I had a buddy who fit a bench seat from a 92 pickup into his 85 pickup. He had to drill a few holes but the bracket fit fine. The only problem was that it was too narrow. There was like an 8" gap between the door and the side of the seat.
