I've been trying to order the F-250 shock mounts but several dealerships tell me the part number posted on the website is wrong. They say the part # E5TZ-18183-A is not for a 1980 F-250, part # E2TZ.... is! What piece of information is wrong? The 1980 F-250 or the part #? Which part # is used on the ColoradoK-5 Blazer for the RS 9012s? Anybody have any idea?

I ran into part number conflicts when I bought mine. The part # E5TZ-18183-A is correct and tell them it's for a 1985 F-350.

I've heard they've been discontinued. I got mine while there was some in their warehouse! LOL!

    I've got a mind like a . . . a . . . what's that thing called?

I heard on this site that the towers were discontinued a while back so I raced to my nearest Ford dealership and gave them the part # and they ordered them and never said anything about not being able to get them anymore.I bought six of them for 10 bucks a piece.

Phil Long Ford in Colorado Springs at (719) 572-2200 has them in stock for $15.19 each. I'll be picking up a pair this afternoon just to make sure I have some in stock. [IMG]

You can also call up BC Broncos, they are a classic Bronco site on the web that is based in Hesperia, CA. I ordered mine from them a few months ago, they have them in stock, and the are about $30 a pair if I remember right. Their website is www.bcbroncos.com Yes, it IS a Ford site, but hey, we ARE using a Ford part on our trucks, so might as well go where the parts are!
