FYI: 69-72 Blazers never came with sway bars. If you want to swap one in you can use the front off of a 73- truck. For the rear you would either have to do alot of fab. work or go aftermarket (I am not sure if anyone makes one).

I thought the 1st Gen Jimmys might have had them. I've seen a local Blazer with F & R bars that look "Factory" the front one bolts to special "top plates" on the axle that have integrated swaybar mounts. I forget how the rear one attached, but it looked neat too!

I know that someone posted a pic of the front bar....with those special plates a while ago.

Not sure if any of this clear up the confusion, or ADDS to it. But I know I've seen these parts..... [IMG]

Today I bought a front swaybar from one of the board members, it is from a 80 4x4, and appears in good shape...it attaches by the top plate of the leaf springs. Will post info once I get it on the truck. JIm

Did you get the spring plates from the 80 truck with it? I don't think our top plates have the mounting locations in them so therefore we need the plates and the bar.

If you do need the spring plates for the swaybar email me and make me a offer. I have a set from a 77.
