4.56 and up carrier needed. Will pay $ or I have a 14 bolt Gov-Loc to trade.

Do you want to sell your Gov-Loc (if you don't end up trading it for the open carrier)? If so, what gears fit it (4.10 and down or 4.56 and up?), does it work well, and how much do you want for it?

Oh yeah, we are talking full-floater here, right?

    Thanks!

    Lets see.
It is for a GM Corporate 14 bolt FF.
It is 4.56 and up(numerically) only.
Works well with no problems. The way this works is: one tire will spin a couple of revolutions, then the gov-loc will lock both wheels together. I am going to a Detroit that is locked all the time, and only unlocks in corners.
If I can remeber correctly, these are about $800 from the dealer if you buy them new.
    I will sell for $100.

Shoot. I am looking for one for 4.10 gear ratio and numerically lower.

I like the way the Gov-Loc works because I want it for my 2WD dually tow-truck (rollback). I don't want it to engage on the road, but if I happen to get stuck in mud or in snow, it would be nice to know that I can spin it a little to get it to lock and get me out of a jam.
