I wonder if they make a TH350 to 208 adapter? How soon do you need it gone Colby? I think I have to be in Seattle the end of next month, I might be able to swing through Portland on my way back through.

The TH350 to NP208 doesn't use the same output shaft as your current TH350/NP203. On top of that the adapter is rare since it was only made for one year.

There is one on ebay, item number #150088094651. Even if I buy that it will not work? I would love to have Colbys but my tranny shop wants to much for a 700 rebuild.

Have you ever rebuilt a motor? Rebuilding the 700R4 yourself isn't much more work and can be done with mostly hand tools and a couple pieces of flat bar with holes drilled in the center.

The TH350 to NP208 combo requires a medium shaft tranny which is probably about the same length as a short shaft 2wd tranny but I'm not exactly sure on that. I do know the output shaft you have now won't work.

What are you looking to spend. My 700 works and the 208 was rebuilt 2 years ago.

I think I know what you mean Kenny, unless my TH350 originally came with a 208 it will not accept it.

It would all bolt together... the output shaft of the tranny would just be too short to engage the input shaft of the tcase so you wouldn't be able to drive with it.

Allan has the cash in hand from his friend, now I'm just waiting to find out which day his Dana 60's show up in Seattle... so its pretty much sold.

Have you looked on craigslist? I saw another TH400/208 on the Seattle Craigslist a couple weeks ago for $150 but that ad probably expired by now.

Well I dont know what to do. My kid seems uninterested in helping me with it again. He likes to drive moms car more than his truck, so I think I am going to sell it for prety cheap. If anyone is looking for a 1/2 ton 4X4 pm me an I will get you a price and pics.
