I am looking for a rear axle so I can get rid of my weak 1/2 ton rear. I would prefer a dana 60 or 70 that would let me use my brake cables (for my 86 Jimmy) but will take a 14 FF. The reson I want the dana axles is so I can go with bigger gears than 5.13s

There is a guy who has a pair of 3/4 ton diffs under a mid 70's truck that said he would sell them for $800.They have 4.56 gears and the frt. is a Dana 44(I think) and the rear is a 14 FF.It was too high for me.If you want any more info let me know.....he is local.

I don't know if Promudder1 has any anymore 14's but he said that he could get some. I'm picking 2 axles up from him in Tuscon next weekend (23th). If it helps, I can pick up 3 and met you somewhere in Phx.

    Later,
    Mike

I checked the 3/4 burb, but they wanted too much for it.

If your willing to take a ride to colorado i know a junk yard that sells rear ends for about $150. I bought a dodge D70 just the other day there for that. I had my choice of dana 60 rears there but passed for the Dana 70

I thought my Computer hobby was expensive......

There's a boneyard around the corner from me that's got a couple of K30 crewcabs - I'll check with them when I get off Wednesday morning and see how much they're asking.

......And knowing is half the battle
