    go get a dead blow hammer. thay are plastic coated with a steel inner shell filled with steel shot. thay shock the area hit. i use one all the time to get them out. just hit the spindle at 3 and 9 position then 12 and 6 position . this might take a few hits. but it works. and the plastic coating wont harm the threads of the spindle. any questions just pm me. good luck buddy.

    Used a rubber mallet. took a little longer, but I got it tonight. Thanks....

    I used a 3-prong puller to get mine off. went real easy.
