I have seen this phrase printed over a hundred times (flat top knuckles) . I cant think what part of the front axle that is. U-Joints, Hubs? I give up. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

the outer part of the axle that holds the ball joints! the knuckles are not part of the housing. 1976 and older d44's had flat top on rh side so a rh side steering arm can be used the later ones were rounded so no place to put the arm not sure about d60's
