    X-over guy\'s NEW ??

sent my 2wd sector to matt (WTO) and had him rebuild and port it.
put it on, went lock to lock counting turn's. found center went to put pitman arm on.
one way it is pointing about where the fender meet's the firewall and the other way it is pointing at about the bell housing. so ether way it is not straight with the frame rail.
is this right? or does this even make sense..
    thank's

OK here is the deal some pitman arms are clocked different than others. Iv'e sen some up to 15 degrees off for a sertain application. So what did you get yours from?
There are 4 double splines on the sector shaft. when the steering is centered they should point to the front, back left and right. The pitman arm will have 4 blank splines to keep the pitman arm aligned correctly.
If you used a Ford pitman arm it will be 45 degrees off ffrom where it needs to be.
Now there is only one way for Saginaw boxes to go together.
I guess i could have assembled it wrong but i hope that i would have caught something like that during testing. But i have made mistakes before.
Give me a call and we'll get it figured out.
