Ok i know this topic has been covered extensivly but i was looking through the 2001 spring edition of LMC truck and noticed on page 90 in the 4wd steering control they have a adjustable tube without the eye for the stabilizer, would this work for the drag link? is 30 bucks to high to spend for the tubing? just curious. thanks.

figure youll spend 30 on the tube, cut it down, then have it mahcined/threaded again. im sure the machine shop will charge you a little money for doing 7//8-18 right hand threads. that seems like the cheapest thing to do. btw i threaded my own drag link out of 1 1/4 dom tubing, will be installuing crossover thic coming weekend
