My car stereo headunit is Sirius ready, so that's why I went with Sirius. I like it quite a bit. [IMG]

I bought a Sirius Streamer w/ 1 year of programming. I really like that I can move it from car to car with no problems. I've had it since June and it's been used in 5 different vehciles for long trips :D

    XM rocks big time.........................................

It could be the cover song show on Fungus.

It could be Hand of Grandfather Native American music show on Fine Tuning.

    It could be NASCAR.

It could be 80's TV Tunes.

But the real reason why XM rocks: Because if you have a unit like the SkiFi2 which lets you know when your favorite artists come on on any channel and if you are working on a Saturday night and you like Iron Butterfly and a certain song they did; that song gets played every Saturday night and with this particular unit, you can rock out to that song for almost a whole hour.

    :D :D :D

I don't think so. I can always find something I like on Sirius. I probley would have gone with XM if my headunit wasn't Sirius ready. It's nice not having a extra unit on the dash.

I just love both of them. Comedy channels kick butt. Nuthin like drivin down the road laughin so hard you can't hardly keep the truck headin in the proper direction.

Not terribly safe, but it does make the time go by quicker. :doah:

we had gotten 3 free months when i bought my wifes Tahoe.

i thought XM sucked a$$. i didnt subscribe.

i didnt see the point of book, nascar, Playboy (?), and the other stupid channels.

not to mention the channels listed didnt play the music i thought should be on there.

like since when was Weezer considered Heavy Metal/Hard Rock?

I've had XM now for nearly 2 years. I listen to it probably 30% of the time I'm driving. Here we have 3 great classic rock FM stations so I usually just listen to them. My honest opinion of XM is that it is "ok". I like listening to talk radio on it b/c most talk radio is on AM stations so you can't pick them up very well if you get between towns. Too bad Rush isn't on XM. I'll just have to listen to him on AM for a while longer I guess.

My buddy has XM, its ok. Our supervisor at work has sirius in his truck, I seemed to like sirius better, played more country songs I liked than XM did. Also, XM seems to mix songs around alot more, the station thats supposed to have like 10-20yo songs has brand new, and vice versa. Sirius seemed to be better defined.
