combined the names I have used for this thread...

I must admit, this weeks wasn't horrible. A real tough truck buildup, sweet. Should be pretty cool. Only stupid thing was using the frame jig tool instead of just jackstands or a lift like a do it yourselfer would.

Ehh.... I've not become a fan of that show - I'm still a Trucks fan. Gotta admit, dude knows his ****, and he don't sound like a douche talkin' about stuff. For example, clocking the t-case not because of the lift, but because of the 'charger....

if your driveshaft is within its angle design parameters thats bull. not to mention I hate those front dodge lifts and I would think he probably does too. They just lift it and don't use any link drop brackets. They level out the upper one but leave the lower angled like crap.ends up more like radius arms than a set of links in my opinion

True, I agree. But wouldn't you consede that the less you can make a driveline angle the better off you'd be?

HAHA....agreed. I'm not a fan of Skyjacker, either, for that reason. It's an affordable lift 'cause there's so few parts...... I don't get it - why?

I was impressed with Xtream 4X4 today. Everything up till today had been just another high dollor mall cruser. Today they started building a cage !!!! Yippy, finally something for off roaders. Still would like too see them do a K5 with 1 ton axles build CK5 style, but that's probley wishfull thinking on my part, LOL.

Stacey built that K5 with an atlas before. If he would have put a 60 under it I would have been fully impressed but even with the 44 it was nice. As for Xtreme today, I was impressed and have actual hope for the future now.

Yeah, I know. Stacey should have used a D60 up front, and a 14 bolt FF out back. The Atlas is nice, but for the money, I would go Doubler. I think he has too use sponcer products.

I don't see anything wrong with a 60 rear. I'm considering selling my 14 bolt and going with a 60 for better ground clearance.

I don't know if this was a repeat...but i saw the blue hemi again...they have, or they added 8" airbags (it said 5" normal...13" blown up) and it's gross looking. I thought it was funny though...the guy said we should take it where it belongs; they took it to a drive-thru for food! Also, they had a shot where it was next to a 18 wheeler, there window was almost level with the 18 wheelers window!

What is wrong with that? I've seen pictures of a Tahoe with a straight axle that sat level with an 18 wheeler, I'd have built one like it. It was just like 12" of lift and 44s. Just cause it doesn't flex doesn't mean its junk, but that Dodge is junk ;)

I meant because the truck they built is pretty much useless off highway...and it doesn't make sense to me having that much lift they have.
I didn't mean it wouldn't be fun to be that high in a truck with 12" lift and 44" tires like you said beside a 18 wheeler...
    im confusing myself now
