What did you do for mods? I cut the front springs and loosend the ladder bar screws. Thinking about shaving the rear axle. My roomates got one, we are just screwing around modding them.

i noticed on some of your pics that you have the control arms still in the stock position. take one from each side and flip it. it helps with the movement onf the axles.

Do you just cut off the springs, then relocate the shocks so that it sits lower? Because mine sure as heck cant crawl over something taller than it.

OK bowtie, you busted a belt too, did you find a replacement or place to get them?
And how did you get those tubes over the belt in the first place?

I've got a few of these and so does my son, and we were having a pull off on the table, well he won after he managed to get my belt to break turning the buggy into a freaking FWD honda thingy. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

I'm thinking of griding the diffs down and putting the limiting straps on the front axles since they droop too far. I was also looking at a way to make the shocks droop more so I migh not need the straps, but man are these things fun! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

for the front i removed the springs but left the shock and just relocated to where you see them in the picture. i don't like the way it looks with out the shocks so i left them. the rears are stock and just relocated.
not sure if you noticed the limiting type straps the i used, but that keeps the axle close to the frame and allows the axle to pivot up and down. if you do any of what i did you will need to clearance /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif the frame or the shocks will hit and bind up travel.

i told you way too much time. but they are cool as heck /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

belts can be changed when you remove the "lug nut" from the axle. real easy and replacement belts came from a donor truck.

ok, the tubes were from a pen that i had here at the house. i've seen some where they used straws, but that binds the belt too much and causes it to break. my rear tube is about an inch and the rear is 3/4.

oh, add the washers to the tires that helps keep the axles down and they look like beadlocks. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
