Happens to me all the time. Currently playing in the car cd player is Black Stone Cherry. I can't take it out!! I'll listen to it until I get sick of it, then put it away for a year...lol

Latest album I can't stop listening to is Led Zeppelin III, I can't get enough of listening to 'Gallows Pole' off of it.

    "Swingin' on the Gallows Pole!
    Swingin' on the Gallows Pole!
Swingin' on the Gallows Pole, Pole, Pole, yeah, yeah!" :haha: :haha: :haha:

Spitfire TumbleWeeds "King James Version". I don't have a choice, something's wrong with my cd player, and it takes about 100 attempts to get a cd to load and play. Once I get one in there, I listen to it as long as I can stand it, then spend a whole day trying to get the next one to play. I've been listening to the 'Weeds for about 6 months now.

I listened to Killswitch Engage - Alive or Just Breathing for about 6 months straight when it came out...I still can't stop listening to it all these years later.

Ive been switching back and forth between Corrosion of Conformity's Blind and Vision of Dissorder's first album for about 2 weeks now. They have been the only two disc's in my changer and i have no intention of adding more or removing them at this point in time.

Definately, just like VOD's Imprint is much better than their self titled debut, but i like it none the less. Deliverance is probobally my favorite album of COC's, but right now im hooked on Blind. And i must disagree, In the Arms of God, while not spectacular, does not suck. It is still a decent album, just not on par with their other works.

Ah the memories. I had the 8-track player in my room that looked like a detonator. Had that push button plunger on top to switch tracks and you stuck the tape in the side. At my H.S. (early/mid 70's) we had our own radio station. They used to pipe it into the cafeteria nice and loud. Zep, The Who, the Stones, Iron Butterfly, the Beatles, ELP, Foghat, Pink Floyd, CCR, Eagles, etc. cranked while you ate your food. Then cassettes came out and knocked the 8-track off its perch. We thought we were state of the art. Of course prior to the 8-track, I used to hook up my Dad's tape reel to reel recorders to the FM and "download" my favorite songs from the radio. Prior to the tape reel to reel, Dad used to have the wire reel to reel recorders.

Now I do get hung up on certain CD's and will play them to death for about a week or two. Then I move on to something else. My tastes are eclectic and I will jump from hard rock to smooth jazz, then to Celtic and new age, over to country, then to bagpipes, then back to rock.....
