This showed up on another board. The first proto type Blazer did not share the truck body and looks to be more the size of a 800 series Scout!

    That's too cool..
I like the original design.. hell .. Wish gm would re-release the prototype.. I'd sure buy one..
That's just me.. I like things that look unique.. and this is certainly one of them.. with 4 inches of lift and 35's.. oh yeah baby..
    Thanks Grim... good reading..

    I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. www.rocko.rockcrawler.com

<font color=blue>Those SOB's!!! They went 30 years into the future and copied my doors! [IMG] That thing is cool, looks like a scout/jeepster hybrid. Sounds like they were ready to make it too

  5. I'm sorry but that thing is butt ugly! thank god they they didn't make it!
i'm sure lots of new car models never ended up seeing the car lot. interesting bit of GM history- still ugly

  6. Damn if that thing wasn't ugly as hell !!!! I am glad they scrapped that one and use the truck body style.

With a little bit different front and fenders that could actually be cool. Lift it up and get some decent tires and to me it looks like it'd make a sweet little rock crawler!

There was recently an article about this thing in one of the 4x4 mags. I will see if I can find it and scan it.

One of you computer guy's should electronically take the top off and put some big tires and a lift on it , so we could see what kinda potential it had...[IMG]
