I guess i got my truck very cheap because of all the vibes.
Rebuilt rear shaft yesterday with those volvo joints.
    Still vibes..
Today i checked the front shaft.. the spline part was loose.
    Could move it sideways.
BUT i got another front shaft from my other K5 in the garage.
With broken centerbolt.. so i took of the lower spline part and testet with the upper part on the new K5.. was tight fit so i changed the joint and tighten it up.. No moore vibes going 4x4. But last terrible noise.. what could that be ?

    Checked everything under the truck..
    hmmmm nothing loose

Then i saw that the skidplate under the t-case was just boltet with 2 bolts in front.. could it be ?

So i found a bit of wood and smacked that between the t-case and the skid plate.

    VOILA.. truck is fine..
only rumble from the 38,5 swampers.

total cost 3 x 9 bucks for those volvo joints..
And those suckers sold the truck because of all the noise..

hehe my lucky day i guess.
( since the phone company called me too and asked if i wanted ADSL link to internet . I have waited since april for that )

Theres something to be said for a little patience and some trouble shooting skills. Good work, and congrats on your find!
