Ours usualy goes from7 til 3 or 4, We just change buying groups and when they converted all the stuff in the system got wierd, like a Box of 100 screws that cost 8.75 and sold by the each just became 100 boxes at 8.75 per box.

Heres an example of our milwaukee blades, 30 SKU's half come up using the milwaukee number half as tru-serve (old group) half as orgil (new buying group) and a few dont match anything just a random numbers. I kid you not it took me and another guy...the VP of purchasing so we had some good brain power going..... 12 hours to do 20' of gondola....Drill bits and saw blades.

In one drill bit...same Identical size and type, we found 2 SKUs and had Vermont American, Black and Decker, Milwaukee, DeWalt and Bosch on the same hook. And the freaking store manager says they spent 10 plus hours per aisle getting it ready. I asked my boss once if I could spend a month or 2 in the store cleaning everything up and he said I made to much money to be the store Manager:haha:

I just did mine today for the shop and two trucks.

It's abso-friggin-lutely AMAZING how many fittings can accumulate in the bins of a 12 foot service body in 12 months. What's even funnier is that some of them never even needed to be on there in the first place.....:doah:

Me- "WTF???? Did YOU put a 48 x 33 weld reducer in here???"

My partner- "Who, me? No, we haven't used one of those in over 3 years. Why the heck would I put one in the truck.....???"

    YAY!!!!! It was fun.....:surepal:

the whole end of the year thing is a nightmare.we used to double count stuff. so half the ass wipes at work would just make stuff up knowing it was gonna be counted again. and they were milking the clock by the same action. it took forever. now its pretty quick.and yes you sound too smart to be a manager.:rotfl: :rotfl:
