What year pickups had round headlights between 73-87?
UP to 79' i think.
73-79. 80 had older body with square lamps. only year like that.
i have an '80 c20 parts truck that had them. it was 73-80. my buddy's 81 c10 had squares.
Up to '79 had the round and the '80 had both round and rectangle lights.
The '80 year having both shapes of lights depended on the trim the truck had. Silverado had rectangle lights and others had round.
But I've seen others with rectangle and Silverado's with round on the '80 years before.
Guess the '80 was mainly the rectangle as I've had 2 of them and the round lights were "odd ball" lights for that year.
From 73 thru 79 GM only offered the round headlamps. In 80 standard equipment was a round headlamp, however, if the truck had the chrome grille option the headlamps were rectangular.
From 81 on all headlamps were rectangular, but the size will differ depending on grille design.
I have an 80' k20 round headlights, only year the headlight

Actually both 79 & 80 have the bezels that go around the turn signals. Like I said, the rectangular lamps were an option (only w/chrome grille) and only available in 80.
My truck originally came with round lights but I changed them. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif
