Gm starters are noted to act like a dead battery when they puke.

Mine did this and i new it was the starter right away because i had the same thing happen to my other truck.

This time i put in a brand new starter and nothing no click or anything I double checked all the conections and wires and still nothing. I also turned on all of my lights to see if it was pulling any power when i tried to start it but the light never dimmed. I have no idea what is wrong this time but maby one of you could shed some light on it for me

Or, corroded wires. I had one that was only letting 7 volts by, so it wouldnt crank.
