my friend brought me an ac compressor off his new motor for his dodge. he said it was a york but im not sure. it kinda resembles one but its shaped like a Y. Its a 360 off a 70's dodge truck.

looked like this. im not sure if its right or not but its the closest pic i could find

Why temporary? do you not like the way it works, have to add oil to it, or are you just gonna redo your bracket setup? thanks for the pic! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

if you can get a pic that'll be great. i need to look at my mounting options. also if you dont mid ask your friend about any pros and cons he knows of with it.

thanks again to both /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Temporary because that pic shows it on the SBC and now there is a 427 BBC /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif. It works very well, have not added any oil but I have not checked it /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif. Maybe I should... And the brackets are redone because of the engine swap, much better now.

427 huh? sweet!!! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif i wouldnt know how to check the oil but you might do that. it should have a drain plug or something somewhere. i havent looked that close at mine yet. my friend just came to work and gave me his york offf his VW bus. what luck!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif now i just have to decide which one to use.
