York installed on it's side?

    It's not a problem with A/C. The problem with mounting a York on it's side with OBA is that it pumps a lot of oil out the discharge.

    <font color="green"> You can mount them on their side for OBA as well, the oil level needs to be adjusted and you want the dicharge on the bottom, contrary to all logic. </font>

    Saw this in the junkyard on a blazer. They were using it for AC.

    I just pulled the high cap. one out at the junk yard, and it was on its side. So should it stay on its side or should I stand it up? I havent looked inside to see if there is a oil pick up or not.
