Anyone have one home made or otherwise? I want one that mounts the compresor off the side of the alternator so I run a combo pully off of it. Thx

dont quote me on this but I beleave their were some full size vans with the verticsl yorks in them, this is just what I have heard though I have not been able to check it out /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

My bud mike said 80's chevy full size with a 350 had one he saw, then again he is a recovering alcoholic who uses beer to help him through the recovery process.. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

    great guy though /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I plan to look into this so will post if I come across something, even a ford van bracket would be a start if it was close /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

But on those vans didnt they use the york for the actual A/C? I need one to work w/ factory A/c. I found one but its prety steep so I'll probably end up making my own when I get my MIG welder in a couple weeks /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

On my burby the alternator is on the driver's side and the stock A/c compressor is on the passenger side. I want to mount it on the driver's side and run a combination pulley off of the alternator. Feel free to hijack, I dont discriminate, any info is welcome.
