I think I want a '70-'73 model or a '77-'78 model. I've been wanting one, but this weekend I went to a car show and saw one *drooling*

I've got a FI 502 picked out for it too /forums/images/icons/cool.gif. And...les see....some 17" wheels with wide azz tires on it....hmmmm...a six speed.....dayum! I want one!!!

    A 74 or 75 SD455 T/A...13 second car in stock trim./forums/images/icons/cool.gif

I had a chance to buy a 75 in '87 for $3200...it was in great shape, but I couldn't afford it. You don't see them very often...

My 76 only moves as fast as the wind blowing by it. Darn electrical problems have shut it down temporarily. Haha

350, 400 or 455 Pontiac's kick some major butt. It's very difficult to get that kind of torque from a BBC for whatever reason. A lot of people overlook the 350 Pontiac, but they are pretty stout even stock. Look what DesertDueler has done with his!

You're right, it would be your car...and you'd do whatever you wanted to it. Just don't make me come down there and smack ya.../forums/images/icons/laugh.gif J/K of course!!

You put a chevy in it and I will have to bring my car to Texas to spank you BBC with my Pontiac 350 with 2 barrell heads /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
If you watch the Pontiac guys you will see that most of them are in the 13s all stock including the 350, up untill the mid 70s of course. Take any motor, put on a set of late 60s heads and a Ram Air II or IV can and you will be in the 12s pretty easy with some weight reduction (the 70s cars are heavy)
