Dual LCD monitors!
Gofergurl doesn't see the point behind the extra-wide desktop
i had a 21 and a 19, my 19 just took a dump so im back to one monitor, dual monitors are awesome
Yes. And it's nice having a desktop again. My CPU took a crap, and I don't want to build another computer, so I've been without my primary desktop for a long time. Heather has been using my older P4 for a while.
Now I have it back at my house. I'm in the process of moving all my photos and music off my laptop onto the desktop. I created a network drive using an extra 120 gb hdd I had. Once I get my silly printer working, I'll have a network printer as well
Dual LCDs are nice. I like putting my Winamp and AIM and stuff on the secondary and do my surfing on the primary.
or when I want a -really- nice surfing experience I can always go downstairs:
120 inch HD LCD Only drawback is as you can see in the pic, you need the room to be dim. I can have a light or two on, but not bright ones and if someone were to open the front door sunlight streams in and annihilates the picture. But when it's dark, it's beautiful. Hooked up to my PC and HD cable box. I'll never go back to big box TVs hehe.
yeah, LCD computer monitors are going to be going out of control in the next few years. 2 years from now, no one but poor people will have anything under 24" widescreen LCD most likely. Not that I am complaining... we need lots of mass production for them to be cheap enough for me to buy. My dad has a nice LCD, best thing about them is how easy they are on your eyes. I have been using PCs since I was 4-5 years old... and even my steeley little eyeballs get 'tired' after hours and hours of looking at a CRT monitor. But an LCD? yikes... they actually feel good to look at.
Just curious, how much does that 120" weigh?
Unless it's a projected image, nevermind.
gotta be a projector...
Yup, Sanyo Z4 projector. I like projectors cuz they take up no space in the room and have a whopping big pic.
How does an LCD projector work? Never heard of such a thing.
edit: just googled it.. I see it is an LCD projector... but I still dont get how they work I guess. lol
man, I wish I had some extra coin laying around. InFocus makes projectors and their HQ is local to me. Last x-mas, they had a sale... you got a projector and 7' screen for $599. Limited time only, pick up only, no rainchecks. I was saving for a downpayment (still am!)... so no bling for me. Woulda been hella cool tho...
Quoted for TRUTH
I think it holds true that if 2 is good - three is better!
I'd love to have a vertically-oriented LCD monitor for use with emulated arcade shooters that came in the vertical format originally. That'd rock!
