Ok What kinda mileage per gallon do you get? Gas right now in AK is $1.92 a gallon and I am spending about 200 bucks a month on gas that is filling up once every six days.

My Blazer typically gets about 12-13 mpg around town, and 17-18 on the highway. My fuel bill averages $160 a month at current prices ($40 a week at $1.58 a gallon)

I got about 12-14 MPG total average on vacation last week, driving some uphill in the mountains. Yesterday, extreme oddity, towing my brother in laws boat trailer home for him, I got about 17MPG. The trip was all highway from fill-up point to fill-up point, so maybe I just do really good on the highway and around town drags down my average.... My speedo is slow, too, so it's probably even better than that... Use your foot lightly!! You'll be surprised!

Fuel in northeast PA (vacationing) was about 1.35. Here in NY (long island) it's about 1.60 average.

I get between 8 and 10 in town depending on how I drive, and 11-13 on the highway.

I was getting about 9-10 all round. This was with 35" tires and 3.73 gears. I am looking forward to seeing the impact the 4.56s will have on it. Oh yeah, I also have 4" lift and 4 big lights sitting on top facing forward. From ground to top of the lights, my rig is 8' tall. That's basically an 8' wall I am driving into the wind.

At least gas is only running about $1.29 or so here in Dallas!

P.S. When I tow my 3,500 lb boat (which is as tall as the truck when it is on the trailer) it only knocks my mileage down to about 8-9.

11 MPG highway, 9 around town. There's nothing like a $45 fill up.

My K30 does 10MPG city or highway (6,000 ft) and 7 when towing a 7,500Lb trailer and a 1,000lbs of gear.

79k5 w/ 400 cid 35 inch tires 6inch lift. I get 8 around town and 10ish on the freeway. That is if I am being very conservative. If I start to punch it that drops down to about 6 mpg around town and 8ish on the freeway. Now mind you this truck puts out about 375 – 390 HP.
