Has anyone tried these products? Which would you guys recommend?
I have used Prolong before, and it seemed to help some, but at $15 a bottle, and having to put it in every oil change, no thanks. I'll pass.
I would not use either. Both are Snake oil. They have a lot of clorine in them. Clorine is very slipery but it is also very corrosive. Would you feel comfortable putting Clorox down your oil fill hole ?????
If you are looking for a good oil additive check out this stuff

I'v been using it for over 10 years in my vehicles and boats and I can honstly say it is good stuff. They dont have to hawk or advertise their product on late nite infomercials because it really does work.
Alot of the top fuel and funny cars run prolong. It allows them to get another 3-4 runs out of a set of crank and rods. One of my buddies only runs prolong in his funny car, and it keeps the wear down, but it helps he is sponsered by Prolong. I also dont know if you are allowed to run just prolong, so I wont say who he is.
