Snafu buildup

This will be my attempt at bulletproofing my K5

Overview

So this is going to be my build up of my K5. Having a build thread should entice me to keep moving forward.

My plans are to remove the conestoga rough country lift and go down to a 4" shackle flip and 4” springs up front.

Also going to keep a watch at the local u pulls for some 1 tons.

Have a trip planned for this sunday to go and extract a 5.3 from an 03 avalanche, and maybe a 14 bolt from one of the 3 3500s that are sitting around...

Feel free to ask anything.
My questions for the group, 4l60e or 4l80e? Keep the np208 for its low range or swap to an np205 so that i would be able to go with a double cardan rear axle instead of slip yoke?
