Overview
This build started awhile back and just like everyone here I've had my problems however I just had to figure it out most of the time. First I swapped the transmission out (I have another post else where that describes the shenanigans of the why I did these things) first 700r4 conversion I've done. Well I forgot to wire in the torque converter lockout. Burned it up had to replace again now to TCL is on a toggle switch for me to operate manually. Then I rewired the whole truck headlight to taillight and everything in between, the the engine, swapped seats for 96 pick up buckets, custom dash with gauges, swapped doors for power doors, and last night got the 12 bolt out from under the rear to put the 14 bolt ff under it and I guess I was drunk when I measured everything because the spring perches were off by 3 inches so cut weld and got her under the new 6"leafs by rc so today I'll be finishing up the rear end and then swapping everything out front out as well as rebuilding the 10 bolt and converting it to 8 lug. If anyone has every done this please chime in with tips and tricks, and please I ask don't bash me on the front end, yes I know 10 bolts suck especially since I'm on 37s yes I know dana 60s are where it's at should I find one in a junk yard one day I'll grab it but this has been a complete budget build. I have lots of things I can share on what I did to save money as well is how long it took. This truck has been my daily driver and getting built all at the same time and noting I've done this far has taken me more then 3 days (except timing my engine) and I have been doing everything correctly nothing shady.
