Restoration WA 1985 K5 project

Rebuild/refurbish of a 1985 K5.

Overview

Original purchase with dead 5.0l. Steering pump leaking badly. Front fenders had been cut to fit worn out 35s on aftermarket 16" alloys. Doors and front fenders badly creased/dented along with a smaller dent in the right rear quarter and a crease in the lower left rear quarter. Three spots rusted through in the passenger side tub with diamond plate welded on to cover. Aftermarket stereo, driving lights and an external visor. Has roll bar but appears to be aftermarket as well. Dash is cracked, seats are worn, paint is tired and most of the clear coat has flaked away. Body and motor mounts are cracked as is most of the steering rubber and the door/window seals (basically all rubber is shot). Surface rust on the bed and most of the bolt heads. Shocks are rusted and worn out.
