Pickup build created by GWeakland620, May 1, 2019
Probably swapped in. The truck is 36-37 years old now. Not unreasonable to think that the 10 broke.
So this truck might be getting replaced. Or maybe just a field partner. Now I’m really starting to feel like @78K30
Going to look at it tomorrow.
That one I would like to have!
Sub’d For rusty shenanigans
You have a large yard. Start filling it up.
Apparently that's what is going to happen. The shop goes up next year, so then they don't have to sleep under the stars.
Same here. I've dreamt of a 4x4 SWB since I was a teenager.
That's exactly what is going to happen.
You building a shop? Got details?
Yeah I had a pretty nice '79 shortbed 4x4 manual trans truck when I was in Moab. Bought it to flip and the thing was way nice and everything worked. I needed the money and it was bought with the intention of selling it but I wish I could have kept it.
79 SWB's are the shizz
That the best statement you have ever said.
Don't have a ton of details yet. Going with a 30ft wide and 40ft deep. 2 10 or 12 foot doors on the front with a walk through to the side. Floor thick enough for a lift.
It's a slippery slope be careful!
That post was two days ago, meaning there should have been pictures posted yesterday if it being drug home.....
The deal is getting fishy now, as per usual. I am not going to hold my breath.
Says the guy trading $100 transfer cases for running driving trucks....
Well that's from a good friend. The other is a friend of a friend deal.
So I’m just going to pretend the round eye never existed due to no phone calls back. So moving on.
Still don’t have the ‘83 yet, as it is super muddy and more rain on the way for the next week. But he did drop this off, so at least I know the ‘83 is a done deal.
And I still can’t think of a name. Thinking something like Rusty Shackleferd.
How bout just “83 truck” and drive it
