Man I need to proof read when I type on my phone.
Update on the flatbed build. No pictures because of darkness. Went with round tube. Much easier to notch. But had to grind the anodizing off of all welding surfaces. Takes time. Went with 2x6 for the floor with 1 etrack on each side running front to back for tie downs. These are on 1x6 so the bed is flat throughout. Aluminium plate for the back skirt. Not sure what else to call it. Bought two four inch round LED lights, then remembered the stop and turn are separate. So went to get two more. No dice. "Our other store in town has them". Drove down there, nope. Don't even stock them.
Went to the "arm and a leg" truck parts store. Bought four matching four inch LED light and a license plate light. Man those things are bright. Got it all wired up and working. Thought I had LED load equalizers. Nope, or they are hiding. Ran to get some. Now the blinkers are not spastic.
Trailer plug is next. Just needed to shorten the harness. Why doesn't anything work? Ah. Bulb in the test light burned out. I have another one. Nope. Get multimeter out. Won't turn on. New battery. Still won't turn on. Crap. Solder two wires to a bulb to use. Drop said bulb and cut my finger picking it up.
Screw this. I am going to get a bulb and buy a tool box for the truck.
Driving home is when the transmission started acting up.
I parked it and watched TV.
