1 ton truck on ebay

damn, if that goes for the $ its at now.. wow. GREAT deal. I could sell the axles, the tacse, the tranny, any body parts that peeps wanted, and just keep the engine + a bunch of free ca$h!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

he says it needs to be tuned (used car buyer translation: rebuilt) but that it does drive...

2 hours for me. Wonder if my Uncle who lives in Logan will let me store it at his house till I can come get it. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

LOL

Hey j...Dibs on the 60/14ff, oh yea.. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif..shipping would be like 3million $$$. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I wouldn't realy call that a good deal its at $1500 and still has 3 days left. Unless there is a "buy it now" for a good price a low starting bid does not make something a great deal. It is still a fair price (if it doesn't go up much more) though.

By the way it probably has a slip yoke style 205 /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

even at $2k i think it'd be a good deal. Peeps sell D60/ff14b combos for $1300 or so... and even if the tcase is slip yoke (read: lost cause) there is the frame, TH400, any body parts that others may want and then ur left with a 454. Sure it prolly needs some work, but you'd be getting it for dang near free. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Say whatever you want about the 205 being a slip yoke style, it's a 205 for a 400 WITH the adapter! I'LL TAKE IT! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That input shaft is way more rare than a short tailshaft.

Lost cause because of the slip yoke? Why?
Just swap it to a fixed yoke. 30 minute job. Easy.

well, if u were buying a rig to kepp that had it in it already then doing the conversion is fine i guess... just as a tcase alone though (ie if u sold it after buying the truck), why would anyone wanna buy it when so many non-slip-yoke 205s are out there that won't require parts/time to fix the slip yoke issue?

I sold a slip yoke Th350/np205 to a guy in Florida. He converted it to fixed output. Apparently it was still cheaper to buy mine, ship 1200 miles and convert over than buy one locally.

I guess I'm cheep. It may be why it takes me so long to gather parts, too.
