How does one go about replacing the needle bearing on the inside of the spindle? Also where do these seals/dust boots go? I have never seen them before and came with the new bearings.

Did you knock the old bearing out yet?

I have a press, that’s the #1 method
#2 is to take a small block of wood bigger than the bearing, and tap it in flush. Then use a socket that fits just inside the spindle, and recess it 5mm

the small seal goes behind the bearing, flat side toward the knuckle

plastic sleeve slides over the shaft, tapered side towards the radius

Rubber seal slides on the stub shaft, fat side toward the u joint

Hmm i was looking around on the inside, didnt look like a lip to press it out. Guess ill try to find a socket to fit in there.
Its funny on all the front ends ive torn apart ive never seen any seals between the spindle and the inner c.

Probably all missing

You can drive them out from the inside of the shaft with a good punch
