10ys coloradok5

In the beginning GM created the Blazer. Now Al Gore's introweb was formless and empty. Steve said, "let there be ColoradoK5.com", and there was ColoradoK5.com. Steve saw that it was good and seperated the nOObs from the Mods. He said, "be fruitful, go forth and mod your trucks. Drive over the rocks and subdue them, and then retire to the Lounge to BS and argue", and it was so. Steve looked over all that he created, and saw that it was very good. Amen.

:haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

I've been on here for close to 10 years now.
Bought my K5 when i was 16 in 1999, been here ever since.
My join date says '01, but i had another username in 99-00 i think before i became a paying member.
I'm a big lurker nowadays.

I think the site you guys are remembering was Blazer-net or blazer.net something like that. The site went down and a lot of people migrated over to here around 99-2000? I followed Greg72, Burt4x4, Steve Chin, BobK, and a few other first gen blazer guys over here i seem to recall.

Then we had Steve Fox make us a Regional Nor Cal Forum on here.. From there we branched off and made our own club site www.norcalbigdawgs.net.

not the begining.but i would like to see what i missed.i was at a GM site and it was the second time in my life i was ever on a computer.i found the link and the rest is history.;)i remember being a BLUEBY.and that Newyorkin was the first one to reply to my thread.after many wasted threads.:haha:Ratch/Rob is still the first brother i will go meet.i would like to meet most, and have met quite a few. but Ratch is the one i will drive a disstance to meet first.:Dwell shy of SHTF.

I found this site by accident. Someone posted up the link to this site in the Chevy forum over on PBB and that is how I found it. I registered in October 2001 on the old software under another username. Then when the site was changed to the current software, I reregistered under my current username. One of my first few posts was to sell my dad's '80 K10 stepside on here. Started being an annual paying member in 2005 when I finally got internet access at home instead of having to go to the local library to get online. HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY CK5!

I don't post a lot but I started reading in late 2001. Joined in 2003. Been driving K5s since 1979. CK5 was just what I was looking for.

And so what were we all rollin in back in the day? the build threads are amazing here now, but i remember when cutting the front fenders was a big deal. also remember fabbing up 52s in the back yard with stock hangers thinkin it'd be cool...

Sure, one up me on the air time. LOL! I remember that too... along with the long threads about jumping our blazers and the pre-runner craze.

I guess I've been here for most of it, if not the beginning. I remember when I found it- I was so excited someone else was into fullsize Blazers. Before I was here I used to be on the Offroad Mailing List.

cant believe its been ten years.i was on pirate first and didnt like the hatefullness.people seemed to always want to down you for smething.i saw this site and never went back there again.happy birthday ck5.my truck is still pretty much the same as it started when i joined.4 inch lift 35's and 350 engine.i have since upgraded the springs and took out the blocks,3/4 ton axles rear disk brakes and inboarded shocks.great wealth of knowledge here though anytime i needed help i could usually find what i needed.i was definitely excited to see a site exclusive to chevy trucks.

I guess I have been here for awhile. Started lurking in 2000 and joined in early 01. Some fun times.
