Ok I found three 14 Bolt SF rearends today under later model chevy's 1/2 tons 6 lug (88-up). These are a direct bolt in correct spring perches shocks etc.. I just need a conversion U-joint I think this is what I have gathered just clarifying. Thanks

OK anymore opinions moving this back to top was going to pick up one of these this week. Thanks everyone

If I understand you correctly make sure the WMS to WMS is the same as there is some variations, and you will also have to move the perches and shock mounts and get a conversion U joint from Napa.

I believe that you will have to move spring perches, but other than that it should work. This axle is supposedly equal in strenght to a semi-float D60. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The 88-up axles are the correct width. They, however, do not have the correct spring perch width. You will have to move the perches. I would get the axle complete with the brakes and just move the perches. You will also probably need a conversion U-joint too.
If you can get it with brakes and all, you will be much further ahead. Moving spring perches is easy for a good welder to do.
