14BFF C&C tire size?

Curious if any of y'all know if a 235/85-16 will go onto a C&C axle without rubbing on the springs and U-bolts, or if a 215/85-16 is a safer bet.

I know they came with 7.50-16's originally (heh heh, 100 series tires!) but they get pricey quick, versus I can get a nice BFG commercial in the 85 series affordably.

Here are some pics. Yes, the 235 / 85R / 16 will fit. It's tight, but it will fit. The U Bolt isn't an issue because it is completely behind the backing plate. It's just the leaf springs. Also, these might help for the brake line routing you were asking about. (It's tight back there!!)
