I wanted to like this, I really did. I'm hung up on few things points. Why bother with all that fab work and not add a 4th door? The cab bed proportions are all wrong. It looks like a poorly executed "avalanche" It would have looked much better with the back half of a pickup cab versus a sub. One last thing to armchair quarterback... doe the available room between the back of the front and rear seat look a little tight?

Ok I lied one more thing... why is its starting to rust already after a full frame off resto?

My guess is it originally was a 3 door Suburban that someone cut off some of the roof ,and added the rear wall of another pickup cab to it..to make it a "crew cab" pickup...

You're right. That rust is very odd. Showing a picture of it getting blasted, then show some rust?

I guess I wonder how long ago it was restored.....

Either way, if it was done properly there should be no rust.

Again, very odd to me.

why :dunno: chip guard just the rockers ? anyone I have seen done the whole bottom of the body gets done.

and the rust spots are all tell tail bad spots .

so he didn't prep correctly or getting water in there and no wai to drain out so holds and bubbles up .

and that gray with metal flake is going to be a bit fun to redo and match up .
