1972 Buick Skylark

I am so glad I was level headed at that age. I only had 10+ vehicles. Had been loaning money with interest to friends and teachers for years. Never wasted money on anything frivolous. :D I had a great bunch of early years. Running my parents dismantling yard was very beneficial.:woot:

My dad was always asking me what the hurry was. Now that I'm slowing down, I find myself saying it to my 14yo son.

Well, sometimes the school of hard knocks is just as helpful teaching kids as Parents. As frustrating as it is for a parent it’s pretty effective.

Heaven knows I learned that way. Pretty sure most of us have. I got a fair share of “I told you so” statements from my Dad. Or “you going to listen to me next time?”
