Does anybody know where all the body mount points are on a 1974 Blazer...I need to put new bushing kit on before I try to line up body panels...
who sells a good stock kit?

get your kit pieces all layed out and in correct order/location before you start. Compare them to what is on the truck right now.
Spray what threads you can see with some PB blaster a day or two ahead of time.

I haven't been under there in a while...can you get an impact wrench to them?

Also...are there any "You oughta go ahead and do this while your in there" things?

Isn't that hard. Pb blast them. Lay the new ones out, loosen all your old ones. Remove one side first, jack that side up and replace with new ones. Don't tighten that side yet, let it down, jack up other side and replace those. Then torque them all. Rear 2 are a pita, you have to lower the gas tank. Other than that, not a whole lot to it.

The ones in the bed of my 76 were tack welded. Had to cut the heads with an angle grinder.

That's going to be a problem...I only have one jack big enough for this truck...if I have to lower the tank, I'll have to use that jack to do it...:doah:

you don't need a jack for the tank. Run it to empty, swing the rear down a foot or so and rest it on a block, box, little beer cooler, etc. They don't weigh much at all without the gas in them.

Here are my current bushings...I can see that one at the very back near the gas tank...don't know if I can get to it from the outer edge?

You going to have remove gas tank any way because there is (a)bracket that is backing part for the (b) bumper bracket. The (a) bracket has a cage to capture the rear body mount. You can get the body mount bolt out but bushing is still going to be in the cage.

Damn this is confusing to explain.
