whats the best way to get at the stud nut underneath the a/c housing and above the wheel well withouht having to cut a hole in the wheel well? thanks

dont you take the whole well well out?.....previous owner didnt put the nut back on when i had to change mine...man was i HAPPY!.
If I remember correctly I used a couple of extensions pieced together and a wobble socket.
A heck of a lot of cussing was involved as well.

I had to drop the inner fender on my '74 to get to that nut.
It's alot easier than it looks. Just pull out the bolts along the lip and on the two ends and let it drop down enough for acccess.
