For those of you interested, there is currently a 1976 Chevy Blazer Chalet on eBay in Elko, NV area. I just happen to come across it when browsing rigs.
PMs sent and received, thanks!my father inlaw has one for sale. Pretty nice, try and post some pics later.
I know of two ocean fishers in that general area, although I was told they were closer to Delaware. Can't miss the first one, bright red newer Blazer. The other is an all-tan GMC Jimmy Casa Grande with the distinguishing feature of non-original red stripes on the camper. I sure could use the serial # for the red one, and a contact for both owners, we haven't heard from the Jimmy owner since he joined our Yahoo forum.Actually saw one on the beach the other day but didnt get to stop and chat, the fish were running!
Allegedly 1,780 of the Chevy and GMC versions combined, more info .here.. My own spreadsheet mega-list of these still in existence is up to 151 units, though there's probably more of them to be found out there...How many of these were produced and sold?
PM sent with the eBay contact info I copied & saved...Just wondering. does anyone know if that Chalet sold? Ebay de listed the info...
It MIGHT have been the tan one. I will try to stop next time. I really could use one instead of my crew cab camper!
Re the Chalet in Elko Nv at the beginning of this post. I looked at that Chalet. It was for sale at a local muffler shop. I was considering buying it but i had enough projcets going on last summer. It sold shortly after I looked at it. I went back to the shop and tried to find out who bought it. The owner did not know. He lets people sell their cars there but does not get involved in the sale.
I didn't see this post till now.
Just wondering. does anyone know if that Chalet sold? Ebay de listed the info. If not it is prolly sitting close by somewhere. They were asking 1500 for it when I looked at it.

Yes he is, provided several photos over at our Yahoo forum. Always nice to see these go to an appreciative home.My younger brother is now the proud owner of this rig.
