1977 K5 "Sparty On"

Hood's back on & brakes are bled, waiting on new power steering reservoir that should be coming today then just need to make a bracket. Then install & get all the air out.....then test drive it!!!!

Got the old Holley 750dp off & the 850 on there, but I need to drill & tap my carb spaced for a brake vacuum port & tranny vacuum port. The new carb doesn't have any provisions for them & my intake isn't tapped for them either. Also need to get a new fuel rail cause the one it came w/ is a -8 not -6...

Since there's no provisions for a vacuum line on the carb or intake I'm gonna have to drill & tap a couple holes in the carb spacer. Shouldn't be to hard to do.....

EPIC FAIL.........:angry1::angry1:
Well didn't realize that when you go Full Hydro that when you turn the wheel and when it returns it doesn't come back to the same location as it started....so the nitrous switch I have in the steering wheel isn't gonna work out to well. It get s coiled up around the column, so the only fix is to do a momentary switch @ WOT on the carb.....:weapon2:

Yep, return to center doesn't mean the steering wheel. One thing I am not too thrilled about when I go full hydro.

Was able to drill & tap my carb spacer this weekend.....kinda! Also had a little helper helping out....

Everything was going good until I went to install the fitting and well......it cracked! So we filled it w/ Epoxy and are hoping for the best, it was only a hair line crack...

You should bring this thing down for dunefest. Its not that far of a drive from you.
