Is the FiTech doing what it promised?Story on the sniper goes that holley tried to buy the fitech setup and they said no so holley did a copy cat unit. I have been doing a lot of research and following lots of people running them.

Agred, thats why i put them on mine haha.I swear those wheels look good on everything.
Put some late model wheels and tires on it today. Just temporary. When I do the 4x4 swap I'll have the 16x7 Ford steel wheels powder coated white and get some bigger tires. Does look pretty good tho!

If you want a cheaper version of the Mickey ATZ check out the Cooper Discoverer ST MAXX. They make the mickey tires but it doesn't have the price tag of the mickey name on it. They hold up really well to rocks and dirt roads but they get a little blocky when wore down about half way and don't do that great on snowy icy roads. I am trying out the new bfg a/t on one of my work trucks now to see how they hold up and they were about $20 cheaper per tire than the cooper ST MAXX. I have the Cooper STT pro mud terrain on my super duty and love them but have not run them in the winter yet.I just cant help it! If i wouldn't have come across a good deal on a roller cam like i did, i dont know if i would keep it. And if there wasnt now a good $1000 fuel injection option out there (fitech EFI), I dont know if i would keep it. So you can thank greg72 and fitech for the keeping of the big block! I really think its going to be a sweet setup. That small roller cam with the 4bbl EFI on top should make for a god running motor! I doubt it will be anything over 350hp and 400ft.lb but honestly, my '12 sierra is factory rated at like 315hp and 325ft.lb and i use that as my bench mark. That thing has never left me wanting for more! And it still has all the stupid factory settings in it! So i think that if i can get an honest 350hp/400ftlbs i'll be quite happy.
I just cant wait to get it to the point where i can drive the wheels off of it!
Speaking of wheels, or moreover, tires. So i ended up not being able to get the sweet deal i wanted at discount tires for the duratracs. THey were about 4th on my list of most wanted tires anyway. So as of today i'm pretty sure that im going to end up getting these mickey thompson baja atz p3's. I think they are super bad ass and should suit the needs of the truck pretty good. Plus they look amazing if you ask me! And i like the whole old school factor of mickey thompsons on a truck that is already old school.

The other ones i have had in my dreams forever are the TOYO MT. I think they are bad ass but maybe a bit over done? I dont know. Im pretty sure i'll go with the Mickey's.

nice rig. i know there is a thread here where people do a 2wd to 4wd conversion.. wonder if it is so worth it... time wise. i could pickup a 2wd and swap ALL of my stuff to it...
Damn that thing is pretty!!

I do like the St Maxx tires. But, at this point im pretty hung up on the atzs. Kinda for the doing something different factor, kinda cause I think something old and the old racing name of Mickey Thompson go together good, and kinda because Mickey Thompson often has a $100 rebate on a set of 4 tires so it makes them about the same price anyway.
If things work out the way I think they will, I'll be ordering up the Fitech fuel injection next week. Seems like a pretty good setup!

Also, just as an FYI, I have started a little (very little) side business and have started working on a website. If you want to check it out and tell me what you think that would be cool! It's at,
