just doesn't look the same without a lab riding shotgun
Thanks for the comments guys. I've been mostly just working and gone wheeling a couple times. Haven't had any time to work on it. I'll be taking it out to 21rd this weekend. I will try to get some pic. Thanks.Subd
Great, For wheelin. went on some pretty easy trails at first. I need to order some hydro assist steer with the tires aired down. I need to set a side some time to do the slider, so I can take harder lines. Today was a bust. Didn't make it to the trail popped a fan belt and put the need one on, and found out on the last trip out. That two of the bolts for the power steering had sheared off. So limped it back homeYeah, how'd she do?
. had to pull the water pump and accessories plate. one the bolts came out easy, and ended up welding some vice grips to the tip off the other one and got it out.
The way that GM built that plate. All the stress from the pump is on the two lower bolts. When I get the assist pump I will need to make a bracket. off the motor mount or exhaust manifold to help. yeah Chris, it runs awesome. I think on the slider I will cut just 2" out of the cab and bed where they are bent up. Paint the slider white to match the cab, and the bars that go down to the frame black. To keep that full body look. That's weird. Everything went together so nicely. I'm wondering if it's cause of all the stress from the weak steering. I knew that hydro assist would be the next thing it would need.

Thanks. Its hard to find time to work on the crawler when I just want to drive fast.Nice SRT10![]()
Well at least it's not crushed. But the wheels were
one of the best parts about this build! Oh well. To each their own.
I Still have the wheels. I Just needed a larger tire for the trails we do and rim stiffeners. I will put them back on when I find a larger set of tires for the 16.5.Sorry man I agree with Adam, we miss hubcaps..
