what is the defalt tank on duel tank systems in these 81-up trucks ?

i just noticed this truck has dual tanks, its a diesel, if it matters,

which tank is for which position of the rocker switch on the dash ?

truck is not running yet and i havent added any fuel to either tank cuz i dont know which to add to,. or if the system even works,

i blindly assume that up position is driver side tank and down position is pass side tank but who knows ??

thanks or anything

This is the way my 91 crew cab is set up. Also, I think the default is the right side.

Put gas in one tank...flip the switch until the guage registers the one with gas in it...there you go!
