Wasn't this just your tow rig to moab?

Yep. It's purpose in life is really a tow rig.

The NA 6.2 doesn't cut it. Which I kind of knew. I've never been really stoked on this burb either.

It's a great ride. California and back. Boise several times Salt Lake several times. Central Idaho.

But in all those times it really never gets 4wd engaged. I'd really prefer to drive my Jimmy and have a more dedicated tow rig. Hence the decision to sell

Gotcha, makes sense as you're surrounded by mountians. Need something little faster.

Hope it sells quick.

Yep on flat ground 65 mph was no problem even 70. But it's the hills that kill me.

I've started collecting their checks. Then claim they couldn't be cashed, and having them send more. It's a good way to waste their time, see how long you can keep them on the hook, one guy sent me five checks before he caught on.

Hahahahaha!

Wish she didn't have so much rust...always thought a civi version of a 6.2L would be fun to tinker with. Working south of rock springs...the jimmy isn't exactly a work rig. lol.

Wait...isn't Norm your dad's actual name?

I never realized you guys were behind that entire scheme. :eek1: :doah:
Yes it is....so when I hear some help desk phone jockey tell me his name is Norman to make me think he's a true American it makes me laugh.....your not Norman, my dad is Norman, I know what a Norman sounds like and it's not you!

The rust is really not that bad. It sat for a while, got some crap stuck in the trim peice, rusted it some. But the rockers, floors, and pretty much everything else is solid.

Almost a twin to my '85 Burb sitting in the backyard rusting..same drive train...if mine had barn doors and as little rust as it had when I got it in 2009--I'd be a lot more enthused about fixing its ailing 700R4 and put it on the road, but now I've lost ambition...no real $$$ to spend on it either..
