the ICT billet adapter plates i used were good quality, cheap and had 3-4 mounting locations tapped into them. Uses the stock mount also.

@bix Thank you for the suggestion.

I was looking at them as well. Did you have to modify your crossmember at all to use them?

Thanks!

No not at all. I replaced the bushing and pins in my stock mounts and used them.

That’s what my eyes see every time I scroll across this thread title. I was hoping I was not the only one.......

You're right, this does look like an ass eating thread. I'm slightly disappointed.

Following anyway.

I’m looking for opinions on Ls Swap motor mounts. I’d prefer to not use the adjustable style and keep the engine in the stock location. Anyone used the Tejas Steelworks C10 motor mounts?

For the swap... I have a 6.0/4l80e out of my 2004 2500 HD. I’ll use the summit racing cast iron manifolds and the stock harness (modified to get rid off the un-needed stuff) I’ll probably use LCT billet egr block-offs. Im just going to use my NP208 behind the 4l80e. I have a new input shaft and a GM transfer case adapter.

Late reply but yeah there are a few people in the 73-87 ls swapped squarebody group on Facebook that have used the Tejas mounts in 4x4 trucks and really like them. I already have a set of TNA/CFM swap mounts that I'm thinking about shelving for the Tejas mounts so I can keep the low mount AC on the LQ9 I'll be using. Supposedly they put the engine up a bit and forward 3" so some of the guys running 4L80E's were able to use the stock trans crossmember in the factory location to save on driveline costs too. Can't confirm that yet but I figure they're worth a shot for $95.
